Boudarlis is a Sith of few words, with a presence that most describe as "pretty unsettling". His loyalty to those whom he respects is undying and he cannot be swayed by promises of wealth, power, or any other material gain. The Honor of his Service is his reward, and what motivates his action.
Background:The details that are known of Boudarlis before he was brought into the Sith Academy are few. What is known is that as a teenager Boudarlis killed the servant of a wealthy Hutt on Nar Shaddaa over an insult and was forced into servitude for years. Boudarlis served the Hutt reluctantly, unable to escape with no means to his name and not fully understanding the power that was growing in him. Finally at age 17 in a fit of a rage over repeated abuses and the Hutt repeating the same insult that prompted the murder years ago, Boudarlis murdered every living thing in the Hutts quarters: slaves, visitors, guards, bystanders included; most with burn marks on their remains. However they found the Hutt disemboweled with its own intestines used to choke the life out of it, also partially burned.
When a Bounty Hunter tracked Boudarlis down, he was able to subdue the youth but instead of claiming the bounty on his life from the other Hutts, the Bounty Hunter realized his force sensitivity and Boudarlis was sent to the Sith Academy, to get his price from them.
It is still not known what was said to provoke such a reaction, but one thing is suggested, one should watch what they say around him.
