The Jen'Dvenjiin hosts three branches in its structure. These include the sith, the imperial military, and an army of mercenaries. The cult is meritocratic at heart and those who demonstrate skill and proficiency with their duties are promoted to higher roles within the order. All three of the branches are able to aspire to the Council of the Shadow Temple which is responsible for setting faction policy, and guides the faction in its daily activities.

SITH

Acolyte- This designation represents the training period of an individual who would be Sith, but is not yet versed in the ways of the Sith or of the Jen'Dvenjiin.

Apprentice/Xaari- Those who complete their initial trials on Korriban are taken on as apprentices by Sith Lords within the Jen'Dvenjiin. Apprentices have some experience with the ways of the Sith, are expected to serve the order openly, and are to look to their respective Lords who shall teach knowledge of the force and the basic principles of the Cult of the Shadow Templar.

Lord/Ari- Once a Sith has proven himself worthy to others of his kind, the Title of Ari or lord can be bestowed upon him/her. A Sith Lord commands respect and authority on both the battlefield and in the diplomatic arena. Sith Lords pursue their own various goals, but all aspire to attain power to meet their own ends. A Lord may take on an acolyte or apprentice if he is willing, and is expected to instruct them in the ways of the Sith and to reveal to them the secrets of the Jen'Dvenjiin.

Darth/Dark Lord/Jen'Ari- The title of Darth or Dark Lord of the Sith is bestowed upon those who have shown exceptional ability both on the battlefield and off. They are masters of the force, Sith philosophy, politics, and are intimately familiar with the plans of the Jen'Dvenjiin. They are expected to serve the Cult and the Empire unswervingly, and are often called upon to deal with threats to their faction or to aid their lesser brethren and apprentices. A Darth can be appointed to the Council of the Shadow Temple.

IMPERIAL MILITARY

Recruit- Recruits are new initiates into the military order of the Jen'Dvenjiin who have yet to become proficient with the basics of their profession. Once an initiate has passed his trials as a recruit, he shall be considered for promotion as an agent in the Jen'Dvenjiin.

Agent- Agents are often employed by members of the council to spy on their enemies, to collect valuable intelligence, and to engage in subversion and assassination of key targets. They have basic training in orthodox and unorthodox forms of combat, as well as politics and philosophy, and are taught how the tenets of the Jen'Dvenjiin are applicable to their lives. An Agent is overseen by a Cipher Agent or Keeper who is expected to aid the young agent in his/her career.

Cipher Agent- Cipher Agents make up some of the best field operatives that the Jen'Dvenjiin have at their disposal. They are used by the Cult to take out high priority targets that cannot be reached by more direct means. All of them are expert assassins and special agents. Receiving special training that not even elite commando's of the Imperial Military can boast of; the tricks of the Ciphers trade range from sniping and orbital strikes, to cloaking and poisoned daggers. Cipher Agents report directly to a Keeper who manages targets, and furthers the Ciphers training.

Keeper- A keeper is the best of the best in their respective field. Masters of intelligence gathering, deception, subversion, and assassination; the keepers are responsible for training and honing their agents to ensure that they are at the epitome of their game. While often agents and cipher agents are employed to meet the needs of the Jen'Dvenjiin, the most dangerous and highest priority missions are often undertaken by a keeper. The keepers report directly to the Council of the Shadow Temple and are even able to aspire to the council.

MERCENARIES

Recruit- Recruits are new initiates into the Mercenary forces employed by the Jen'Dvenjiin. They have yet to become fully proficient in their profession, and are trained by the orders more veteran mercenaries. Once their time of initiation is over they are often promoted to a the rank of hunter.

Hunter- Hunters are called upon by the Jen'Dvenjiin to hunt down or take out targets who are on the run from their employers, or to engage in large scale conflicts when extra firepower and muscle is required. To be a hunter is no small feat, and they are often armed and armored accordingly. Many hunters become fanatic zealots to the shadow temple as they are trained by their captains in the application of the Jen'Dvenjiin's tenets.

Captain- Those hunters who demonstrate an aptitude for leading others are promoted to the rank of Captain. Captains lead their mercenary teams into the heart of battle to tackle difficult missions that cannot be overcome by conventional military means.

General- Generals are the overseers of the mercenary order. They are responsible for overseeing the training of the recruits, the hunters, and their captains. All vital missions and hunts are handed down from the council directly to the general who decides how best to combat any particular issue. Despite serving a heavily tactical role, these men and women do not sit idly in a bunker somewhere. Instead they often prefer to gear up in the most advanced and deadly equipment and to lead the charges with their brothers and sisters in arms. Often at the heart of a victory one will find the brave deeds of a general. Generals are able to become members of the Council of the Shadow Temple.

Council of the Shadow Temple
Composed of the most proficient, ambitious, experienced, wise and diligent members of the Jen'Dvenjiin, the members of the Council have demonstrated their undying loyalty to the aims and goals of the Jen'Dvenjiin and to the Vigil itself. Those who sit on the council are appointed by the factions Overlord to assist in military, economic, political, and philosophical affairs. During times of conflict members of the council can call for a state of war between the Jen'Dvenjiin and an opposing faction and are expected to lead their respective forces. In addition, Councilors assist their subordinates by providing them assistance in their economic or militaristic endeavors and help their branches to achieve their full potential. Councilors dictate faction policy and serve to further the ideals of the Empire. The highest authority and honor is reserved for those members who demonstrate the fortitude and will to become Councilors.
